Dear home town,

Milán, relatively compared with other cities and fashion capitals, is small and cozy, but don´t get fooled it is the city of extremes. As a latin i am used to the madness and passion in everyday duty , and Milan being an Italian city has provided me the drama and yelling my ADN has made me dependent to, but in the otehr side the people in milan qwith their elegance and grace walking on heels has taught me this city is peculiar as no other. The weather its another extreme, when there is a rainy day, it Fucking rains for a week non  stop! when its hot,  you fucking die of hot and when its cold it even snows. But don´t take me wrong , for me thats just the perfect dose of madness and intensity to make every single day a glamurous adventure.

Its interesting because of its past and simple at the same time due to its easy and understandable urban design. Its a north city  , and as the Southern call them, colder people who doesn't have the  hand gesture talking cliché of Italians but, they do have the elegant and good shoes cliché of Italians we have in America.

Walking through Brera the art neighborhood, or  through Moscova  , the newest and hipest part of Milan,  gives you a sense of eternal fashion week street style. It is real that there are people who actually just put on jeans and a jacket, but at the same time there are so many urban fashionistas that inspire you to improve your look day by day.

Pleated demi skirts, oversized coats, cool mom denim, old ladies in fur, elegant men with hats, and cool teens in bumber jackets, make me feel, for the first time in my life that my fashion choices are normal . Growing up in a small country side town, makes your panorama of life smaller, and at some point , no matter how much my parents gave me the opportunity to travel and experience real life, at some point you en up thinking this small bubble of life that you live as reality is the absolute truth, and slowly converts you into what the standard quo is , without you even noticing it.

Milano, has been filling my spirit of inspiration to remembering that reality changes depending of time and space, and you cannot stick to the status quo because that way when you're taken out of certain environment , you loose your little bubble of reality and at some point your self. Living in one of the deserved title of capitals of fashion has given me the mental peace to stick to my style no matter what , where or with whom, because personality , kindness and style is all you really have when you take away the time and space of your so called home.
